Renton aspires to be a center for arts and
culture where traditional and contemporary arts
thrive and creative industries are cultivated.
Arts & Culture Master Plan Goals
• Foster cooperation and collaborative community engagement in plan development and ownership of plan recommendations and identify champions to carry vision forward
• Leverage resources to implement recommendations
• Support the growth and leadership efforts of local arts organizations
• Support local emerging and experienced artists
• Support and cultivate creative industries
