SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC SUBSTATIONS
The TGOOD 2100kW integrated solar photovoltaic demonstration project supplies power to TGOOD’s manufacturing facilities in Qingdao, China. The project was fully designed and installed by TGOOD engineers. Annual electricity production averages 2200MWh which is equivalent to the power generated from 750 tonnes of coal burned in a conventional coal-fired power plant.
The project reduces annual CO2 emissions by 186 decitonnes, sulphur dioxide emissions by 10.4 tonnes, nitrogen oxide emissions by 7.4 tonnes, and dust emissions by 12.6 tonnes. TGOOD is committed to doing our part to reduce the global effects of climate change and improve the air quality in China.

The TGOOD Zhangshang wind power project in Zhangjiakou City, Heibei Province, China utilizes 35kV prefabricated substations to connect a high capacity windfarm to the state power grid. Booster stations collect distributed power from individual wind turbines and channel the power into the higher voltage network.
Consists of separate enclosed cabinets: low voltage switchgear cabinet, step-up transformer cabinet and high voltage switchgear cabinet.

A manually operated, high voltage oil-immersed load break switch is used.
Plug type high voltage fuse provides fuse signal to protection and monitoring equipment.
Both the high voltage oil-immersed load break switch and the plug fuse are installed in a separate oil compartment within the transformer's oil tank.
Transformer temperature, pressure, and oil level monitored.
Skid mount substation oil filled transformers available in sizes up to several thousand kVA.

Inverter module converts low voltage direct current from solar panels into low voltage three phase alternating current.
Booster station module transforms low voltage three phase alternating current from inverter into high voltage three phase alternating current for integration with electrical grid.
Integrated substation module combines inverter and booster station modules, eliminating external cabling between modules for a completely “plug and play” solution.
Substations consist of separate compartments for each major component: inverter compartment, low voltage switchgear compartment, step-up transformer compart ment and high voltage switchgear compartment.

TGOOD’s skid mounted power supply provides a portable and highly resilient power solution for remote worksites that lack electrical infrastructure.
Units are completely airtight, waterproof and dustproof for use in harsh environments.
Integrated components: PV cells mounted on rack, charge-discharge controller, maintenance-free battery, fast charging module, control box, accumulator module.
Two configurations available: >800 W capacity configuration provides power to pipeline projects, 2-3 kW capacity configuration provides power to centralized monitoring and control equipment.

Replaceable battery pack provides emergency power for up to 7 days.
