Current Renewable Energy Projects in the ELIDZ
Solar Geyser Investment • Already operating and targeting 30 000 domestic solar geysers per annum
• Employs 50 permanent staff
Utility Scale Solar PV Park • A 110MW Solar PV Park in the Berlin area
• The project will employ 350 permanent staff
Solar PV Park within the ELIDZ • A 10MW Solar PV Park within the ELIDZ
• Their pilot solar carport project has already been established and is feeding energy into the grid
• The project will ultimately employ about 8 permanent staff

• There are about 3 million jobs globally
• About half of these are in biofuels, followed by, wind, solar, biomass, hydro and geothermal
• Estimated direct jobs in South Africa could be as high as 145 000
