This week we are reminded that we have a very generous God who though we sin every day and are unworthy of his love, always offers us second chances and helps us to achieve the greatness that He has created us for. The challenge for each of us is to ask ourselves if there are people in our lives that we need to replicate the same for. Once we figure out who they are, we need to hide our pride, step out of our comfort zones and take the risk to reach out to them in love. We pray that God will give us the grace to do this as we connue our Lenten journey. Let us remember that with God on our side, any- thing is possible. Trust Him! I would like to once again thank all those who were part of the St Patrick s celebraons last weekend. Despite the wet weather (which wasnt bad at all), it was a success. People sll came out and had fun. I would like to thank especially all the people that were involved with the planning, execuon, seng up and cleaning up. Your efforts helped us acknowledge an awesome missionary; St Patrick. As promised, all the proceeds from the Kingaroy and Kumbia celebraons will go towards supporng the centenary celebraons of Our Lady of Peace Kumbia in May. We need all the financial help we can get for this project. The church building itself needs a bit of maintenance done to it. This includes painng, carpeng and some touch- ups here and there. The Kumbia community have been diligent in looking aſter this church over the years and we think that this is the me for us to appreciate their hard work and offer them some help too. So if anyone would like to contribute to any of the projects, please do let us know. No amount is too small (or big). Whatever we give will go a long way to help us mark this milestone this year. I would also like to acknowledge and thank all those who have been generous so far. May our good and generous God reward you all abundantly. As a result of all the work happening at the Kumbia church, it is now declared a work siteunl further noce. This means that NO ONE is allowed on the grounds without leng the parish office or myself know. This includes the meeng room next to the church. All Kumbia weekend liturgies will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 10 Kearneys Rd Kumbia on Saturdays 6pm unl further noce. We thank our Lutheran brethren for their generosity in leng us use their church. If you have any queries on any of these, dont hesitate to let ask us.
