NATIONAL ELEMENTARY HONOR SOCIETY Recognizes outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated personal responsibility, to provide meaningful service to the school and community, and to develop essential leadership skills in the students of elementary schools. NEHS is a club for 4th and 5th grade students.
FLORIDA FUTURE EDUCATORS OF AMERICA The program provides a forum for students to become aware of career opportunities in education and nurtures their interest in teaching as a career. FFEA students have been supporting our school, students and community throughout various initiatives.
ATTITUDE IS ALTITUDE Comprehensive Social Emotional Learning Curriculum.
• RECS was named a National Blue Ribbon school in 2008 by the Florida Department of Education for overall academic excellence and closing achievement gaps
• RECS was designated as a School of Excellence for the 2017-2018 school year by the State Board of Education for being in the 80th percentile or higher of possible points earned in school grade calculations
