No large items (tailgates, motorcycle parts, etc.) will be allowed in the venue. Smaller items (guitars, hats, etc.) are fine. And don’t forget your black and silver sharpies!

CREDENTIALS We will distribute official personalized CMA Awards Remote Broadcast laminated credentials on Sunday, October 30th at the Music City Center. You will need your personalized credential to enter the remote ballroom, so please wear it at all times while visiting the remote site. This credential is for the remote only and will only allow you access to the broadcast center. It will not allow you access to any other CMA Awards Week venues. Space is limited and all personel will need to be in your studio space during artist sessions from 9AM – 3PM. Please plan accordingly as during these peak times we will not allow staff standing in the aisle ways. All names must be approved in advance.

GUESTS All personnel on the broadcast floor should be working personnel for your radio group/station. The names that have been cleared for credentials have already been advanced with your respective group/station contact. Only credentialed individuals will be allowed on the broadcast floor.

ARTIST INTERVIEW POLICY & PROCEDURES The ultimate goal is to ensure that everyone participating gets equal time with all the artists who will be stopping by for interviews. In order to make sure this happens, we have developed this proven procedure, which requires cooperation from all of the participating groups:

ARTIST BOOKINGS WILL TAKE PLACE 9AM-3PM CT ON MONDAY & TUESDAY

ONLY 5 MINUTES PER ARTIST PER STUDIO - MAXIMUM! INCLUDING PHOTOGRAPHS AND SIGNING Do not forget to bring a recording device to record artist interviews in case you are on a break when an artist becomes available. Each day you will be provided with a list of the artists scheduled to appear the following day. Artist lists will NOT be released before this time under any circumstances. Please review the list and be prepared to see all artists. Our talent staff will then compile Talent Routing Sheets for each artist scheduled to appear that day. An escort will bring the artist to your area, with a specific time allotment allowed. It is important that you stay within the five minute time frame in order to keep the flow running smoothly. NOTE: 5 minutes is the average time an artist has to spend with each studio in order to provide an efficient experience. Please keep in mind that occasionally this time may vary slightly depending on how much time the artist has available. Please be flexible if asked to spend a little less time with an artist on a tight schedule.

TELEVISION / VIDEO POLICY Local market television crews are permitted to take B-roll of your group at the remote. However, they must be approved and credentialed by CMA. If you are bringing a camera crew, please let Ellen Appleton (615-347-3416) know by October 21st so that she can review the policies and procedures with you and those attending the remote. Under no circumstances are your crews permitted to talk with the artists at the remote broadcast. They are permitted to take B-roll footage of your group only and must stay within your designated studio area.
