Language Arts: Phonics: en/et word family, rhyming words and identifying

the letter for the initial sound of a word

Reading Skills: genres: realistic fiction and fables and using

picture clues to tell a story

Grammar: verbs can tell about the past or present

Writing: organizing stories in the correct sequence

Math: Patterning by color, shape, and size, review 2 and 3D shapes

and sorting

Creating our own patterns

Science/Social Studies: Identifying and recording daily weather

The types of clothing we wear for different kinds of weather

Veterans Day

Religion: We will be working with the story of creation for the next

couple of weeks.
