Fifth graders in the homeroom of Deborah Haas performed The Christmas Carol in a format called a Readers
Theatre A Readers Theatre is a dramatic presentation of a written work in script form with an emphasis on
expressive voices and gestures
TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAShellipand all through Broadway
Third grade students in the class of Kim Adkins performed a dramatic reading of Twas the Night Before
Christmas complete with props and costumes The students honed their theatrical and literary interpretation skills
working with Gifted Intervention Specialist Carmella Lammers
LT Ballrsquos Math Madness
Students at LT Ball solved real-life math problems during Fridayrsquos Math Madness Each problem solving station presented a holiday challenge such as how to select from a menu within your budget and how to measure wrapping paper to use on a gift They also tested their trivia and other math skills using unique fun games
Tipprsquos Newest Published Authors Sixth grade students authored illustrated and published unique holiday stories This week they read their books
to first graders at Nevin Coppock
ldquoEmergencyrdquo Kindness In the weeks preceding Christmas a group of Tippecanoe
Middle School students and Tippecanoe High School
freshmen worked to make the holidays a bit brighter for
those finding themselves in the emergency room at Wilson
Memorial Hospital During homeroom and after school
students wrapped shoeboxes and filled them with items
to transform the boxes into ER Care Kits They will be
given to ER patients during the 2013 holiday season

VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL PRESALE TICKETS Please remember that for all CBC Varsity Boys Basketball Games the gate price for tickets is $600 for students and adults This is for both home and away games Students (grades 1 thru 12) can get $400 presale tickets through the HS Athletic Office or Hocks Pharmacy These presale tickets will be valid at ALL HOME GAMES and ALL AWAY CBC Boys Basketball games Hocks will also carry adult tickets that are valid at HOME BASKETBALL GAMES ONLY These adult tickets will be $600 each
