1. Introduction FLIR is committed to serving customers by responding to comments and feedback while making

major product enhancements. This United VMS 7.0 update, available for Latitude, Horizon and

Meridian, includes new features, edge device support, bug fixes and improvements based on this

user feedback.

We now offer support for large sites up to 10K cameras on a single Directory. This enhances

further our ability to support large sites as well as expandability of current sites.

Note: Support for 10K camera system on a single directory is dependent on server specifications.

For more information, please contact your local sales representative.

Secured Connection for EZ Client

EZ Client, the feature rich, modern, web client interface now has the ability to secure it with TLS

protocol. This feature further drives the EZ Client to being a functional and secure client

application for everyday use. Transport Layer Security is available on communications between

the Web Server and any connected Web Clients.

Configuring TLS Connection

The configuration of TLS connection to EZ Client is done right from Admin Center. Clear

instructions are available in the Help file.

Note: The user is responsible for acquiring a suitable Certificate (United VMS does not

create/supply certificates).

Export MP4 from Control Center and EZ Client

enable using standard players.

Limitations:

2. Windows Media Player for Windows 7 has a limitation that only supports videos up to

1080p.

Product Features

August 18, 2016 Release Notes United VMS 7.0 V7.0.0.5758 6
