Allah will exalt those of you who believe, and those who are given knowledge,

in high degrees; and Allah is Aware of what you do (58:11). Dear Parents, Assalamu Alaikum. We would like to welcome both new and returning families to the Universal Academy of Florida’s 2021 - 2022 school year. Alhamdulillah, UAF is constantly growing and improving. We owe our success to Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) first and then, of course, to the devotion and commitment of all those involved in making the school flourish. Each person in our UAF family is a valuable asset including our board members, parents, students, staff, and our Tampa Bay community. May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) bless each and every one of you. Our commitment to educate, guide, and graduate bright students who are conscious of Allah, maintain Islamic character and good citizenship, and achieve high academic standards is our priority at the Universal Academy of Florida. Our dedication to excellence in education, productive staff, and a loyal parent/student community are blessings from Allah as we continue our journey to success, Alhamdulillah. The Universal Academy of Florida welcomes all prospective families to experience the outstanding education and experiences we provide for each one of our students. We are pleased to offer your children a new, exciting, and challenging academic environment. As you explore all that we have to offer, we encourage you to contact us if you have questions about UAF, our admissions process, or if you would like to schedule a tour. Thank you for your interest! We look forward to meeting you and your family, and working with you in the near future, Insha’Allah.

You will also receive a tour of UAF where you will be able to see our beautiful campus and observe a typical school day. Step 2: Online Application After your Admissions Welcome you will be directed to our online application where you will submit all necessary information and documents for review. Please note that your child’s application will not be processed until we have received all information, application fee and clearly scanned required documents which include: birth certificate, immunization record (no religious exemptions for immunizations) , school entry physical exam, and most recent report card. The Admissions Committee will then come to an enrollment decision based on previous school records, entrance exam, personal interviews and available seats in the grade level. When an enrollment decision has been reached, the family will be notified and provided information to complete the enrollment process. Please allow 4-6 weeks for the Admissions Committee to notify you regarding your child’s enrollment status. Accounting Process Tuition Contract and Deposit Tuition contracts will be emailed to all new families. Parents must pay a $100 non-refundable deposit for each child to secure a seat. Your child’s spot will not be reserved until this deposit is received. The deposit is credited toward tuition for the 2021-2022 academic school year. UAF requires families who apply for Financial Aid to complete the online Family Financial Aid application through the FAST website and upload all required documents there. Please note: As a family’s financial situation may change, it is necessary to apply for aid each year.

The Tuition Assistance application is due May 29, 2021. There is a $45 non-refundable processing fee required by FAST. Upon recommendation from FAST, the Financial Aid Committee decides on the eligibility of applicants and the amount they receive. Due to a limitation of funds available, tuition assistance and amount given will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, parents will be required to volunteer for at least 20 hours per year.
