What to Bring

Clothes for 4 days, Bed sheets for a single bed or a sleeping bag, Pillow, Bible (KJV), Notebook, Pen, Pencil, Shampoo/Soap, Toilletries, Sunscreen, Bugspray, Swimsuit Snack money, Any medications that you need.

What NOT to Bring

Any electronics, computers, ipads, ipods, portable games, magazines, knives, weapons, books other than your Bible or per-sonal devotions, valuables, drugs, cigarettes, alchohol.

I/We grant the authority for my/our son/daughter ___________________________ to participate in a retreat run by Southgate Baptist Church (SBC) at the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Property. I relieve YWAM and SBC, it’s officials, staff, assistants, and institutions of all legal responsibility which can result as a consequence of accidents, damage, injury, or loss that may occur to my son/daughter throughout the duration of their stay at YWAM. I/We do not hold YWAM St. Croix or SBC responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings in the accommodations provided by YWAM and SBC.

I give absolute right and permission for SBC to use my photograph in any form of promotional material.

Registration FormIn order to promote a whole-some atmosphere we ask all teenagers to obey the follow-ing rules: Obedience to retreat staff. No physical contact with the opposite sex. No portable electronics. Cell phones will be left in cabins or with a counselor at night.

Daytime Dress: T-shirt, tennis shoes, and pants or knee-length shorts during the day. No rude or inappropri-ate words or pictures. No skin tight or see-through clothing. No tank-tops.

Evening Dress: Guys: Collared shirt and pants for services. Girls: Modest tops, loose-fitting pants, or loose-fitting, knee-length, or longer, skirts. No shirts with low necklines or that show your midriff.

Swim Wear: Guys: Swim trunks Girls: Modest one piece suit or modest tankini with no midriff or cleavage visible. No bikinis.

Violation of these rules can result in early dismissal of teenagers.

Overnight Retreat for 7th -12th graders

Location, Time, Cost.

The youth retreat will be at the YWAM base (behind kmart appli-ance in Sunny Isle).

Camp will begin Mon, Aug. 4th at 9 a.m. and will end Thurs., Aug. 7th at 3:30p.m.

A completed applica-tion and $50 non-re-fundable registration fee will be due July 25th. The remain-ing cost of $120 per student will be due the first day of the retreat. This will include meals and overnight stay at the retreat.

What is it?

Southgate Baptist Church is hosting overnight teen re-treat for teenagers going into 7th-12th grade. We will be staying indoors at night in cabins located at the YWAM facility. The retreat will be a time for teens to play games, participate in team activities, team challenges and sports. More impor-tantly teens will be focusing on their re-lationship with God. They will be learning fight for God and the truth of His word.

Come to Youth Retreat 2014 by Southgate Baptist Church this summer and learn to fight for what you believe in. God wants you to be ready. Will you fight for Him or against Him?
