I give permission for my child/myself to be transported to official off-campus Trollwood activities including but not limited to performances, inclement weather relocation and field trips. I understand, acknowledge and agree that:

The Fargo Public School Board will provide for reasonable supervision of students within its care and control. The supervision will be consistent with the ages of the students. However, the School Board is not an insurer of the safety of the students nor can it supervise all movements of all students at all times.

In addition, there are certain risks inherent in travel and at the destination. Fargo Public Schools does not carry coverage for student accident insurance. I understand that if my child/I should be injured, I will be responsible for medical expenses. I further understand that an employee or volunteer has no personal liability unless he or she has acted recklessly, wantonly, or intentionally to injure my child/myself.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Students will be "Where the Wild Things Are" as we explore drama through some classic children's literature! Each week we will read & act out a favorite children's book using songs and games. Parents can drop off & pick up their student or take a coffee break in the Trollwood Gallery while their students attend class. Complimentary coffee/tea will be provided.

SparkMusic; Searching for Cinderella: Ages 7-11

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This spring, Trollwood Performing Arts School presents SparkMusic. Join us for a one-day music session that will build your child's confidence and creativity! Did you know that there are more than 300 versions and variations of the tale known as Cinderella? In this class your child will become acquainted with various adaptations of the tale and the geographic region it came from, as well as learning about the madrigal music form. Students will choose their favorite versions of Cinderella and develop it into a Cinderella madrigal performance for family and friends at the end of class. Join us for a musical, magical time!

Students from schools around the area will become the cast and crew for Seussical KIDS. Theatre and Elementary Education professionals will guide the students through this exciting process. TCT provides the set, costumes, technical equipment and staff to professionally stage the show. Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical KIDS!

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This is the perfect class to help you prepare for your next audition!

Vocal/Music portion is a 90 minute class where students will learn to sing in varying musical theatre styles and focus on how to act the song. Assistance will be given in choosing audition song selections, and preparing cut versions of songs. Emphasis will be on delivering a musical theatre sound via healthy vocal technique. BEGINNING TO INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASS.

Dance portion is a 90 minute class that presents the students with various styles of authentic Broadway Theatre dance. Dancers learn the basics of technique and alignment through ballet and jazz-based warm-ups, and also get to practice the specifics of context and setting for each week's combination. Learn how to improve your ability to act and dance to help you stand out in the audition room. BEGINNING TO INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASS. Jazz/character shoes suggested.

Moviemaking: Grades 5-8

Topics covered will help you produce fun and professional-quality videos and short films. Take your moviemaking skills to the next level!

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Have you ever dreamed of playing in a Rock Band? Join professional musician, Billy Kidd, to learn songs, rehearse with the band and perform the songs for family & friends at the end of the class. Students must have played their instruments 1-2 years, have proficiency on their instrument and be able to play/sing in time. Focus will be on coaching to learn songs and performing. Let's rock it out! Students are expected to bring their own instruments, but please contact Trollwood as rental opportunities may be available.

Company member teachers will work together to create original choreography which will be taught to the Dance Troupe. Improve your technique and style while working on original repertoire. Session ends with a presentation for friends and family.
