Our conference Following the successful and widely praised inaugural conference at Coventry University in 2013, we are pleased to announce that the 2015 host is the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Austria. Our conference is an interdisciplinary forum for a wide range of practitioners and researchers to explore music and movement in Dalcroze and related practices, for example: the ways in which musicians move to make music, types and theories of movement, traditions and cultures of movement, moving to diverse sources of music (improvised, live, recorded or imagined), movement for specific pedagogical, artistic or therapeutic ends, and observing and facilitating movement. Papers and workshops will run all day, followed by performances in the evenings.
