Challenges
•3 age groups amongst the 50+ with different needs– Senior but not yet retired– Retired but independent– Retired but dependent
•Fear of technology
•Underestimation of the benefit (‘for what the hell do I need this’?)
•Costs. Problem especially in poorer countries (East)
•Varying degrees of intensity of countries’ elderly strategy (e.g. e-health is not a big topic in Eastern Europe)
