Implementation of Climate Change modules



• UPNG Curriculum Development and Council approval structure and protocols

• Incorporating Climate Change Modules into the existing Course Programs at UPNG

• Courses integrating the Climate Change modules in their existing course structure;

- Resource Management and Environmental Sustainability- Soils and Land use Planning- Comprehensive Hazards and risk Management- Bachelor of Sustainability Development (New Program)- Plant taxonomy and structure• Forestry Department (PNG Unitech)


• All 4 climate change curriculum modules have been package into a new course program at the PNG Unitech Forestry Department

• Postgraduate Students doing carbon analysis in the laboratory

• UPNG Science Lecturer feed back on the Climate Change Curriculum based on the 4 modules

• Students feed back on the Climate Change Curriculum based on the 4 modules

• Three (3) Postgraduate Students graduated out from the concept produced from the Curriculum Development

• New courses being proposed at the School of Natural and Physical Sciences at the faculty level
