• Current facility needs to be replaced due to age, level of use, and safety
• No equivalent facility available in Southern Arizona
• Supports tactical and driver skill enhancement of 33 Public Safety Jurisdictions in Pima County
• Also provides non-public safety training to agencies to include Suntran, Dept of Motor Vehicles and Teen Driver Safety Programs

• 337,000 SF asphalt driver-training track
• 112,000 SF irrigated concrete skid pad
• Training room facility and Ramada for 50 people

Enhanced Driver Safety Unique surface and academic setting for realistic training
• Ramada for 50 people will enable shaded academic area located within immediate access to training area
• Track elements provide the ability to
train in a safe but realistic environment
• Modernized surface for tactical driving practice with the capability to employ public safety and civilian vehicle dynamics
• Leverage current high-speed loop
• Concrete skid pad added to increase overall training area for both high and low speed skid maneuvering
• One quarter of the track will also meet the needs of unique motorcycle training
