SOFRONIO ESPAÑOLA, PALAWAN – Twelve (12) reformist of Balay Silangan Reformation Center in Sofroio Española, Palawan

graduated last June 11, 2019.

GRADUATION CEREMONY

PINAMALAYAN, ORIENTAL MINDORO –Balay Silangan

Reformation Center in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro was launched

and inaugurated last June 17, 2019. The activity was graced by DIR

MARIO D RAMOS, Acting Regional Director, PDEA MIMAROPA, LGUs, OLEAs

and other members/representative of the Regional Oversight

Committee on Balay Silangan. The reformation center catered 8 drug

offenders.

VALIDATION AND DECLARATION OF DRUG

CLEARED BARANGAYS

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, PALAWAN - On June 10, 2019,

Regional Oversight Committee on Drug Clearing Operation validated

thirty-five (35) barangays in Palawan. The Validation and

declaration was held at VJR Hall Capitol Compound, Puerto Princesa

City, Palawan.

TELE-RADIO PROGRAM

Drug Buster on Air: We Sail, We Fly, We Bust. The tele-radio program is hosted by Ms. Angeline O. Cusi and Ms.

Faye S. Faltado and aired every last Tuesday of the month from

12:30 - 1:00pm, live at 96.9 Radyo Natin Calapan and Calapan Cable

via Channel 72.

MAY 2019 Topic: Banning of “Amatz” song of Shanti Dope, Launcing of

the program “Sagip Batang-Solvent” and the Ill Effects of

Inhalants.

MEDIA INTERVIEW

On June 14, 2019 at around 9:00 in the morning, DIR MARIO D

RAMOS was interviewed by Mr. Darwin Sarabia, Information Officer

IV, Provincial Information Office, Oriental Mindoro and writer in

the local news program “Kapitolyo para sa Mamamayan” aired in

Calapan Cable Network and Tamaraw Vision Network, both local

television network in Oriental Mindoro. Discussed were the Three-

Pronged Anti-Illigal Drug Approach of the PDEA; the concept of

Balay Silangan; update on Barangay Clearing Operation in which

forty-one barangays were validated and revalidated and declared as

drug cleared barangays (16 barangays validated and 25 barangays re-

validated) last May 29, 2019 at Tamaraw Hall, Capitol Complex,

Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro by the Regional Oversight Committee.

INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINTS DRUG ABUSE

AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING 2019

PDEA MIMAROPA personnel launched the PROVINCIAL DISTRIBUTION OF

PDEA COMICS CARAVAN in the observance of the yearly celebration of

IDADAIT with a theme “Katarungan Para sa Kalusugan, Kalusugan Para

sa Katarungan”

DRUG AWARENESS LECTURE

LECTURE TO REFORMIST OF BALAY SILANGAN

Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro – On June 20, 2019, Atty. Suminigay P Mirindato, Asst. Regional Lawyer and Ms. Angeline O.

Cusi, POI III, conducted lecture about the Latest Jurisprudence

from the Supreme Court regarding Republic Act 9165 and Drug

Identification and Ill Effects of Drugs, respectively, on the 8

clients/reformist of Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro Balay Silangan.

AKTIBONG BARANGAY KONTRA DROGA (ABKD)

Brgy. Masipit, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – June 11, 2019 at 1:00 in the afternoon, Ms. Angeline O. Cusi,

PIO/Asst. Chief, PECI and Mr. Erwin T. Bagon this Office with

Calapan City Police Station headed by PSUPT Efraim A Camara,

conducted Drug Awareness Symposium known as “AKTIBONG BARANGAY

KONTRA DROGA (ABKD) in Barangay Masipit, Calapan City, Oriental

Mindoro. The symposium was attended by one hundred fifty-three (51

male and 102 female) Barangay Officials, BADAC members,

surrenderees and constituents.

Brgy. Malamig, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – On June 14, 2019 at 1:00 in the afternoon, Ms. Angeline O. Cusi,

PIO/Asst. Chief, PECI and Mr. Niño Arvin T. Bagon this Office with

Calapan City Police Station headed by PLTC Efraim A Camara,

conducted Drug Awareness Symposium known as “AKTIBONG BARANGAY

KONTRA DROGA (ABKD) in Barangay Malamig, Calapan City, Oriental

Mindoro. The symposium was attended by one hundred seven (50 male

and 57 female) Barangay Officials, BADAC members, surrenderees and

constituents.

Brgy. Comunal, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro- On

June 18, 2019 at 1:00 in the afternoon, Ms. Angeline O. Cusi,

PIO/Asst. Chief, PECI and Mr. Erwin T. Bagon this Office with

Calapan City Police Station headed by PLTCOL Efraim A Camara,

conducted Drug Awareness Symposium known as “AKTIBONG BARANGAY

KONTRA DROGA (ABKD) in Barangay Comunal, Calapan City, Oriental

Mindoro. The symposium was attended by three hundred fifty-two (61

male and 291 female) Barangay Officials, BADAC members,

surrenderees and constituents.

CAMPUS CARAVAN

Baco, Oriental Mindoro - On February 28, 2019 at 1:30 in the

afternoon, MS. ANGELINE O. CUSI, PIO/AC, PECI and MR. NIÑO ARVIN T.

BAGON, Preventive Education Speaker of this Office, with Baco

Municipal Police Station headed by PCPT Clyde B Kalyawen, conducted

Drug Awareness lecture in Felix V. Aceveda Memorial School, Brgy.

Mayabig, Baco, Oriental Mindoro, headed by Ms. Maria M. Manalo,

School Principal. Participants of the activity were one hundred

thirty-three Grade III to VI pupils (64 female and 79 male).
