•10 PIDC members reported they believed people were smuggled into their country/territory

•6 PIDC members (Fiji, New Caledonia, Palau, PNG, Tonga and Vanuatu) believed those smuggled were being transited to another destination

•114 cases of people smuggling involving 209 smuggled people were detected

•41 of these detections involving 74 individuals were reported by Pacific Island members
