GUIDANCE NOTES FOR NOMINATION FORMS

Please check that nominees are willing to stand. Their Signature will be required by the returning officer.

Those nominating are not entitled to nominate more than one person for a particular office.

Should there be contested positions a secret ballot will be held at the AGM

REGIONS

Any woman Party member may stand for the office of Regional Women's Chairman or Deputy for the Region in which she is a Party member provided that her nomination is supported by five or more Women's Committee or Women's Area Chairmen from more than one Area within the Region.

AREAS

Any paid up member may stand but their nomination should be approved by the Officers of their Area group.

Nominees should have previously served on the committee of an affiliated group.

Nominations must be signed by two Affiliated group members

NB Your affiliated group members do not have to nominate for all positions.
