RSAC Issue: By-Laws Change for Cape Canaveral Section

• Section has changed by-laws– Changes emailed to RSAC members for review– Changes have been reviewed by Dave Quackenbush and Emily Springer

• RSAC approval required

Location REVISED Initially Reason for RevisionArticle XI, Section 4

… “with” … … “wit” … Spelling error

Article VIII, Section 1

… “1 June to 31 May” … … “1 August to 31 July” …

This change brings the section fiscal year inline with the national fiscal year.

Article V, Section 4

DELETE See reason The position of “Commander of the Air Force Eastern Space and Missile Center” no longer exists.

Article V, Section 2

…“by nature of their office”… …“Ex Officio”… Simplifies the reading of the section.

Article VII, Section 11

“Electronic voting shall be allowed for the executive council to conduct business.”

New section in Article VII

This addition would allow the executive council to conduct business via electronic means.
