How can cultural anthropology be useful in studying another subject?

Currently I am studying to become an Occupational Therapist and this

cultural anthropology class is one of the prerequisites needed. As a therapist

it is important to understand all kinds of people and cultures because all

fields of therapy strictly work with other people. It is important to

understand how other cultures and people live and think in order to better

help them. Cultural anthropology is also very important in helping people in

all societies become more accepting of other belief’s and practices from

around the world.
