Film: “Gnomeo and Juliet”

The entire film is basically the exact same plot as “Romeo and Juliet,” but with a few twists. For one, instead of human characters they’re garden gnomes. Another difference is that Gnomeo and Juliet don’t die in the end. Therefore, it has a happy ending instead of a tragic ending.

Film: “West Side Story”

“West Side Story” is about two rival gangs located in New York City. The plot of this film is very similar to “Romeo and Juliet” with only a few differences. One is clearly the setting of New York City in the 1950s compared to Verona in the 1500s. The two opposing gangs represent the Capulets and the Montagues.
