Project description:

The existing monofunctional velodrome should be

developed into a multifunctional indoor arena for

events, concerts, shows and especially

professional basketball according to BBL

standards. It is designed to be as flexible and

multifunctional as posible to create the maximum

revenue for the operator. It includes five F&B

outlets 20 hospitality boxes, three event boxes

ana a business area to accomodate 400 – 600

business guests.

Vision4venue is contracted to work out a

technical, functional, architectonic feasability

study and a operational concept to compare the

two possible options – re-build a new arena or

transform the velodrome .

The Stadium Roof was designed to be an iconic

and modern facade and steel-roof structure

coverd by membrane and polycarbonate. The

modular standalone roof represents the proud

and independence of the kurdish comunity in Irak

while it is iluminated in the traditional colors.

The team of vision4venue is responsible for the

design and conception of the roof in cooperation

with an partner from Netherlands. At a later stage

it is planned, that vision4venue will be

responsible with its partner for the turnkey

execution of the project.

The aim of the design and built competition was

to modernize and to expand the existing

Steigerwaldstadium up to 18.500 spectators.

The two moveable stands behind the goals

enables perfect sightlines for athletics (stands

following the athletic track) and football (stand

following the linear pitch). The new comfortable

main stand offers a generous business and event

area and provides up to 17 variable event boxes.

The aim of the design and built competition was

to modernize and to expand the existing

Steigerwaldstadium up to 18.500 spectators.

The athletic track should be preserved. The

curved arrangement of the new stands integrates

the existing weststand perfectly and creates a

uniform appearance of the stadium. Furthermore

the comfortable new grandstand offers a

generous business and event area and provides

up to 17 variable event boxes.

Project description:

The Arena Nuremberg was build in 2001 to host

the IIHF World Championships 2001. The arena

concept is developed as a multifunctional arena

for icehockey, ballsports and all kind of concerts,

events and shows. The arena includes a newly

renovated VIP and business area including 24

hospitality boxes, two event boxes and about 400

business seats.

The team of vision4venue was involved in the

design and construction process and for the

recent renovation and upgradings. Furthermore

we developed with the operator the extended

operational concept during the design phases

between 2001 - 2012 while employed at the main

contractor.

Project description:

The stadium Cologne was completed in 2004 to

host five games for the FIFA World Cup 2006 and

the matches of the 1. FC Köln. The stadium is a

classical football stadium with vour close stands

to the footballfield which creats an outstanding

atmosphere. The stadium also is one of the most

efficient stadiums in germany in terms of

marketing, multifunctionality and hosted concerts

and shows from international artists as ACDC,

Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay and many more. It

includes various spaces for VIP and business

areas including 60 hospitality boxes, two event

boxes and about 2000 business seats.

to achieve the requirements to host international

open air tennis championships.
