reference krissy berry
TRANSCRIPT
Date: 17 July 2014To whom it may concern,
Kirsten (Krissy) Berry undertook an industry placement here at State Library Victoria, in July of 2015, for the period of which I was her supervisor. She was working with the Collection Development and Purchased Resources team.
During her time with us Krissy completed tasks associated with library acquisitions including a cancellation project on unfilled orders; creation of orders with one of our antiquarian suppliers; checking of orders, for accuracy, before transmission to our major overseas library supplier and processing invoices.
Krissy proved to be a productive worker, with a high degree of self-motivation, and a sound work ethic. She was quick to pick up new skills and put them into practice effectively. She was able to take direction and could then be relied upon to complete tasks satisfactorily with the minimum of supervision. Her computer skills, in particular, were of a pleasingly high standard.
Krissy could be relied on to present each day punctually, and appropriately dressed for the workplace. She managed her time effectively in the flexible hours environment that operates here at the library. She had an approachable and co-operative attitude and was respectful of all the staff here who agreed to share information about their particular roles and expertise.
I feel sure that she would be a valuable asset in any prospective workplace, and wish her well in her future career.
Yours sincerely
