Background of Mr. D. Chakradhar

He is a graduate engineer in Ceramic Engineering and worked for almost 25years in the fields of Glass & Refractory and worked for more than 20 years inservice industry in the said fields. Implemented various projects independently.He is one of the pioneer of introducing professional refractory dry-outs and heatup services in India in nineties when associated with KTG ( I ) Ltd. He is the co-founder of BHCL in the year of 2002 and carried the responsibilities ofMarketing, Sales in addition to technical and project execution activities. Hewas the pillar of BHCL to make the organization successfulwithin 2 years from humble beginning. .

Detailed Profile :

Had gone through Industrial training during 1987- 88 at H.M.T. Lamps,Hyderabad, engaged in manufacturing of Lamp Shells, Tube, and Lead Glass.He had undergone intensive training process on Batch Plant, Glass Furnaceoperation, Glass melting in Regenerative, Recuperative furnaces and OlivettoMachines, imported from Hungary for Shell blowing production and in Dannerprocess for glass tube drawing. In addition to the above he worked on Glasslampshell chains, Fluorescent tube light and Mercury vapor lamps sections.

A.Worked as an Engineer during 1989-90 at, M/s Jalan refractories engagedin manufacturing of Fire clay, High Alumina, Magnasite and Insulatingrefractories to serve various industries situated at Alwar, Rajastan.

Responsibilities handled :

Carried the responsibilities of incoming raw material inspection for acceptance

/ rejection, Calcinations of raw materials, Crushing, Grading, Mixing, and greenproduction by friction screw presses having various range of capacities frompneumatic to hydraulic, hand molding for special shapes, drying and firing inRing chamber kiln and Down draft kilns.

B. Worked as a shift in-charge in Rasi Refractories during 1990 to 1992 inmanufacturing fire clay, high Alumina, Silica, Basic Refractory, ZirconRefractory and Monalithics.

Responsible for complete shift operation, which includes manpower planning,batch planning, production planning, quality assurance, achieving shift targets,and all associated activities during shift hours.

Achievements :

Undertaken special assignment of development of Silica checker block forVizag Steel Plant and Bhilai Steel Plant and successfully developed theproduct. Given technical assistance and support to customers and troubleshooting activities as and when required by customers. Successfullyestablished Silica checker brick manufacturing.

C. Worked as a Shift in-charge at Dyna lamps & glass works during 1992 to1993 engaged in Manufacturing of G.L. Shell and tube drawing with technicalcollaboration of CORNING U.S.A., Vello process tube drawing was introducedfirst time in India.

Joined since project stage which was a green field project and carried out theresponsbi1ities as a team member of project and selection and procurementrefractories, establishment of cullet processing plant, batch plant, furnace,erection & commissioning of production machines. Towards successfulcompletion and streamlining the day-to-day process after commissioning.

D.Works as a Asst. Manager during 1992 to 2002 in KTG (I) LTD situated inBaroda engaged in Projects of Glass Plant design, Machinery Supply, erectionand commissioning of all kind of glass plants. KTG (I) Ltd was having variouscollaborations to supply turnkey Glass plants and Introduced Professional heatup services of refractories in India across various industrial segments toimprove the life span of refractories.
