DESCRIPTION
Combating Fraud and Legislative Liability confronting our Industry Fraud is rampant in the domain sector, exposing merchants to unusual amounts of risk, as well as downstream liability due to the Data Accountability & Trust Act and other legislative threats. Registrars and hosts are major targets by online fraudsters, often exposed to 30% or even more than 50% attempted transactions being fraudulent. Letting these fraudsters through can expose hosts to even more liability due to pending legislation. This session will cover ways to combat fraud, increase legitimate orders and combat threatening liability exposure from pending legislation.TRANSCRIPT
