Redmine

Redmine is an open source, web-based project management and bug-tracking

tool. It includes calendar and gantt charts to aid visual representation of

projects and their deadlines.

So how do we use it?

• Bugs– For issues in code– Example: Scan bag button disabled when it shouldn’t be

• Work Items– For features– Example: Add a remote command which causes the

minder to be slapped

• Infrastructure– For the underlying servers and software– Example: Need a place to log bugs and work items

Good• When a canister is inserted

and the bag enabled setting is on, the scan bag is disabled. I expect this button to be enabled at this point. Verified that it occurs on Brits 1 and the demo room machines.

• New – It has been logged• Assigned – Someone has agreed to look at it• Closed – It has been done• On hold – Something is blocking it– There should be a related item to see what is

blocking it• Others exist for various processes

• Finger print scanner has stopped working• Financial Impact: 1 – Doesn’t effect cash ups, as

technicians can still login with password.• Impact to client: 1 – Client doesn’t see this.• Operational Impact: 3 – Call centre will get more calls

from field.• Sales Impact: 3 – This is on the reference site list so it

could impact sales where the reference list has gone out, however we can take it off until it is fixed.
