Red Tassel Choker Step 1: Roll the Deerskin Fringe into a tassel and check it for fit inside the round cord end. If it doesn’t fit, cut off as many strands as necessary for the fringe to fit inside firmly. Step 2: Apply a thin smear of adhesive to the rough side of the fringe along the top edge and roll it into a tassel. Hold it in position until it is secure. This will only take a minute or two. Step 3: Apply adhesive inside the cord end cap and then insert the tassel. Create a second tassel with the other piece of fringe. Step 4: Cut a piece of Suede Lace about 2.5” shorter than your neck measurement. Place one end in a foldover cord end. SUPPLY LIST: SF0203 0410 Deerskin Fringe Red DOS50 0410 Deerskin Lace (1/8”) Red - 15” SOS25 2010 Suede Lace (1/8”) Red - 18” J7074 or J7073- Two 7-10mm (inner diameter) silver cord end cap with loop Six silver foldover cord ends Four silver jump rings F2540 Fiebing’s Leathercraft Cement Tools: Scissors, Ruler, chain nose pliers, flat nose pliers Step 5: Fold down the top, and then using flat nose pliers, fold in the sides, one at a time to secure the lace. Do this on both ends of the lace. Step 6: Cut one 7” and one 8” length of Deerskin Lace and attach a foldover cord end on each end of the two laces. Step 7: Connect a Deerskin Lace to each end of the Sof-Suede Lace with a jump ring. Step 8: Attach a tassel to each of the cord ends using a jump ring. Step 9: You now have one continuous length of lace with a tassel on either end. To wear, center the cord on the back of your neck and tie in a double knot in the front. Step 1: Roll the Deerskin Fringe into a tassel and check it for fit inside the round cord end. If it doesn’t fit, cut off as many strands as necessary for the fringe to fit inside firmly.
