This digipack seems to be very minimalist approach, when considering Red Hot Chilli Peppers are considered to be a Funk Rock group. This actually goes against the consistent theme that we have been seeing with the Rock culture so far. The colour scheme that we see, here is very plane but the Red lip’s are in very stark contrast to the remainder of what we see in the image. Looking directly at the image we can see some sort of machine, that seems not to be functioning as it should be. The Screen gives us an impression of this genre of music be non conforming to society and that it disrupts the way in which society is working or acting. Red connotes passion, love & power. The type face is again conforming to the genre. It could be considered bland when compared to other Rock album covers. The font seems to be in type writer font, which would suggest that a secretary could have typed it showing that rock is everywhere and is for everyone.
