We offer:

• A wide range of wheelie bins (240, 360, 660, 770, 1100-litres see back page for full dimensions) for hygienic and practical storage.

• Trade waste sacks for businesses with limited storage space. Sold in rolls of 25 for £61.55 (incl delivery), these can be purchased by completing the trade sacks e-form online at www.west-norfolk.gov.uk.

• Flexible collection programmes which can be adapted to meet seasonal variations.

• Extra empties if required.• Short notice collections.• New weekly recycling

collections.

Cost effectiveBusiness rates do not cover the removal of waste from business premises. The council provides a commercial refuse collection from as little as £413.98 inclusive of bin hire, collections and disposal and £137.80 for recycling (price based on a 240-litre bin).

Customers are invoiced annually in advance or can choose to pay by standing order.

waste and recycling services provided by

local authority organisations have been

VAT free since 1st April 2011. This means

that your business will benefit from having

the additional 20% previously levied on

your invoice to spend on something else!

will automatically update your invoice to

reflect this change.

Recycling collection schemeWe have improved our recycling service and you can now recycle more items such as, glass jars and bottles, shredded paper, plastic pots, tubs and trays, envelopes and food trays.Take advantage of our improved recycling service for as little as £5.50 per empty for an 1100 litre recycling bin.

Helping you meet your legal responsibilitiesBusinesses are required to ensure that the waste they produce is stored, managed and disposed of in accordance with legislation.Our service is designed to help you meet your legal responsibilities; our wheelie bins have hinged lids, which help to contain waste safely and can be fitted with wheel and lid locks for additional security, meaning you can take steps to keep unauthorised persons, animals, accidents and adverse weather from disturbing waste and potentially polluting or causing harm

to people or the environment, as you are required to do.

Businesses are responsible for ensuring that waste is removed by a local authority or licensed waste collection company authorised to remove, transport and dispose of waste safely. A waste transfer note, detailing the type of waste to be removed, must be completed by the both parties.

The council provides waste transfer notes and only uses ethical end markets for recycling so you can rest assured that your waste is being dealt with professionally and in an environmentally responsible way, leaving you free to focus on your core business.

Businesses are not permitted to dispose of trade waste in household containers or at household waste recycling centres.
