processed into compost, sold locally
at home and garden stores and used
by local farms.
Extra Yard WasteThere is a charge for
extra yard waste.
Put extra yard waste in Kraft paper
bags or 32-gallon containers with
lids – label “yard.” Only extra yard
debris may be placed in Kraft bags.
Food scraps and uncoated paper
must be placed in the compost cart.

When you’ve used what you have and still have some left? Compost!
1) Collect food scraps in a kitchen container,paper bag or approved compostable bag.
2) Empty into your outdoor food and yardwaste cart.
3) Rinse kitchen container and repeat!
TIP: Empty your kitchen container into your cart regularly.

Garbage GuidelinesPlease: • Bag all garbage.
• Double bag pet waste, petlitter, packing peanuts, vacuumdust, sawdust and cold ashes.
Extra GarbageGarbage charges are based on cart size. There is a charge for extra garbage that doesn’t fit in your cart with the lid closed. If your garbage cart lid is open more than 6 inches, there will be a charge for extra garbage.
Bulky items such as mattresses, large appliances and building materials can be picked up by special arrangement. Contact us for information.

for extra recycling.
REMEMBER!Recyclables should be empty of food and liquids, clean of sticky
residue, and dry so that paper and cardboard don’t become moldy.

ACCEPTABLE BULKY ITEMS: Your on-call clean-up includes one cubic yard
of household garbage and up to Two (2)
large items.
No single item may weigh more than 60 pounds.
Limited to 8’ in length and free of liquids, including
oils and fuel.
Please tape/tie closed any cords, etc. for easy handling.
