Please contact: City of Columbia Public Works 110 Santa Fe Pike Columbia, TN 38401 (931) 388-8650 www.columbiatn.com City of Columbia Recycling Guidelines Aluminum & other metal cans (no food debris) These items are not accepted: • Glass • Styrofoam • Electronic waste (batteries, cell phones, computers, etc.) • Hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, cleaners) • Used oil or oil containers • Window panes, mirrors, ceramics • Medical waste (syringes, needles, etc.) • Yard waste • Food waste • Trash All plastic bottles and containers (#1 - #7) Wide-mouth plastic containers and lids #1 & #2 plastic bottles and jugs (caps removed) File folders, office paper Greeting cards, regular & junk mail Paperboard boxes (cereal, pasta, tissue etc.) Newspapers, brochures & inserts (no bags, do not tie & bundle) Loose metal jar lids & steel bottle caps Corrugated cardboard (flattened, pizza boxes, shoe boxes, food boxes [no food debris]) Magazines & catalogs Phone books NEW!
