Design CriteriaClear identifiable labels

Weather protection (i.e. rain hats)

Front door access

Easy to open latch without use of awkward gestures

Liner NOT accessible from the top of the container

Liner capacity should not exceed 75 pounds

Potential for expansion of items collected (i.e. compost)

Integrate containers into landscape

Family A:Steel frame with steel slats

“compost” or “trash” label would

be placed

Holes differ in size and shape to

indicate recycling, compost, etc.

Overall style may be rectangular or

circular

Utilizes common “Slim Jim” liners
