The Recycle Round – Upwas a collaborative effort involving the whole Owatin Creek Community. We are thankful for all of our support -The Green Team for organizing the event, the families collecting for ourcrafts and activities, local businessesdonating supplies, the office staff andjanitor staff handling our donations,Mr. Dibler and Mrs. Jupina creatingawesome displays, Mrs. Bainbridge and Mrs. Bogust for volunteering theirtime and expertise, and the familieswho attended the event!
But most importantly, we thank Mrs. Cook for embracing our ideas and allowing us to “run with them” to create a fun family night!!
Each family who entered the Round-Up received a reusable shopping bagand a fact finding scavenger hunt paper. The answers were found within the
many displays and activities available in the room. When the family finished the scavenger hunt they could enter their name in a free drawing for wonderful prizes!!

Each of her students created a page in
the book and also a poster to match
their page! The posters were created on
discarded poster paper – an excellent
example of “reusing” and “reducing”
