Sub: Requisition to pre-close the on-going Recurring Deposit accounts

Dear Madam,

I am <Account holder> holding savings account in HDFC Bank for past 9 years. My Customer Identification number is <ID number>. Currently I have Recurring Deposit accounts and the details are as below.

Due to unavoidable circumstances, I won’t be able to continue the payment for these RD accounts. Hence I would like to pre-close them before the maturity period.

I kindly request you to close both of them and deposit the so far paid amounts for those RD accounts into my savings account. My savings account details are as follows:
