Civilian Corps (NCCC) members are

18-24 year-olds who dedicate

themselves to a full-time residential

service program for about a year.

AmeriCorps NCCC partnered with

the Federal Emergency Manage-

ment Agency (FEMA) in 2012 to

establish FEMA Corps.

FEMA Corps teams travel through-

out the U.S., specializing in projects

related to disaster preparedness,

response and recovery.
