Teddy Picker-Arctic Monkeys
The Arctic Monkeys signed to Domino Records in June of 2005. Thissong was released as the third single to their album FavouriteWorst Nightmare(2007) a follow up to their smash hit WhateverPeople Say I Am, Thats What Im Not(2006). The Arctic Monkeysstated that they decided to sign with Domino because they wereattracted to The DIY ethic of the label and producer Laurence
Bell. The Arctic Monkeys are part of a long list of modern indie rockbands that initially signed to Domino Records including: FranzFerdinand and The Last Shadow Puppets

Some Might Say-Oasis Some Might Say became the first number one for Oasis after it
was released as the first single from their album (What's theStory) Morning Glory. At the time the band were still signed to
Creation Records, although when the deal was made in May1993 there were complications concerning an American
contract. This left Oasis with a worldwide contract with Sony
although they were still licensed to Creation in the UK.Furthermore Oasis eventually singed to several over recordlabels including: Sony, Big Brother and Reprise after initial
success with Creation.

Someday-The Strokes The Strokes formed during the late 1990s and were
eventually signed to RCA ( Radio Corporation of America) torelease their debut album in 2001 Is This It. Someday was
the third single from their debut album and was releasedwhilst they were still singed to RCA. Like Oasis, The Strokes
signed with Rough Trade Records and eventually Cult Records
in 2009. The Strokes were also the first band to sign to CultRecords after it was set up in 2009 by Julian Casablancas.

Time For Heroes-The Libertines
The Libertines have been signed with Rough Trade Recordssince their original deal on December 21st2001. This song wasfeatured on their second album The Libertines and was theirhighest chart success peaking at number 2. Unlike many other
bands The Libertines have stayed with Rough Trade Recordsthroughout their 13 year career, the band even initially made aplan to sign to the company within six months during the early2000s recording several demos and tapes to send in specially.

Naive-The Kooks
The Kooks signed to Virgin Records in 2005 after having
been together for only four months. The song wasntreleased as a single from their debut album Inside
In/Inside Out until 3 months after the albums release.Virgin is part of the EMI company which is associated
of many famous indie rock bands such as: The Red HotChilli Peppers, The Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead.
