Breakdown of Reception and Accommodation Centres There is a total of 54 Centres consisting of: - 4 Reception Centres These are located in Dublin. None are State-owned. - 41 Accommodation Centres These are all located throughout 20 counties, of which 7 are State-owned, (Knockalisheen, Co. Clare; Kinsale Road Accommodation Centre, Cork City; Atlas House, Killarney; Atlas House, Tralee; Johnston Marina Hotel, Tralee; Park Lodge Hotel, Killarney; Athlone Accommodation Centre.) - 9 Self Catering Centres

Of these, 6 are located in Dublin, 1 in Mallow, Co. Cork, 1 in Dundalk, Co. Louth, and 1 in Ballaghderreen, Co. Roscommon. The total of 54 centres consists of a mixture of state owned and commercial and consist of Hotels, Guesthouses (B&B), Hostels, Former Convents / Nursing Homes, Mobile Home Sites and System Built Facilities. The 1 Mobile Home Site is located at Athlone. The System Built Facilities are located at Knockalisheen, Co. Clare, and Kinsale Road, Cork (both State-owned). Knockalisheen Accommodation Centre, Co. Clare (State owned) Facilities include dining area, reception and general enquiries area, CWO rooms, children’s rooms for indoor activities, medical rooms, training room, and recreational facilities. Kinsale Road Accommodation Centre, Cork (State owned) Facilities include dining area, reception and general enquiries area, CWO rooms, children’s rooms for indoor activities, medical rooms, training room, and recreational facilities.
