• Investigating mechanisms of lung cancer cell proliferation and invasion in vitro. Developing a mouse model for further study.

• Evaluating blood-based assays for early detection of lung cancer. • Investigating anti-inflammatory mechanisms of ex vivo lung perfusion.

Clinical:

• Evaluating surgical management of inflammatory and infectious lung disease. • Evaluating the use of CT to decrease negative appendectomy and perforation rate

in pregnant patients • Ex vivo lung perfusion
