1 – Contract awarded by BP for construction and installation of Gas Gathering System

BP is one the elite companies of the world in their field and Galfar was fortunate of having received the contract for Construction and installation of Gas Gathering System (Phase 1) for Khazzan Gas Project. Working BP will provide a great portfolio of clients for Galfar and if it works on this efficiently, like it always does on their projects than it will surely add to Galfar’s reputation and they might receive many projects in the future by such big companies. The project

involves construction of DSS pipelines including main Headers, Sub Headers, flow lines and above ground installations. Duration of the project is claimed to be 40 months and contract value is 110 million US dollars.

2 - Contract received for ‘Site Preparation Service’ of Duqm Refinery

Another contract it receives is of the

Site Preparation Work from Duqm refinery. The work of this project is expected to start from second quarter of 2015 and is expected to complete by the second quarter of 2016. Once the refinery is completed it is claimed that it will have the capacity to process 230000 barrels of crude oil per day.

3 – Contract clinched from BP for Khazzan for power supply procurement and construction

Another contract that Galfar was awarded by the BP is that of Oman Khazzan 132kV Power supply Procurement and Construction for Khazzan project. Galfar has received this contract for the construction and commissioning of 26km OHL in concrete Poles/Steel towers from PDO Musallam. The contract also includes construction and commissioning of switchyard and control building at Khazzan field. The contract value is said to be 10,053,233 US

Dollars. The duration of the contract remains undisclosed.
