Recce Shots
This sofa is where the bullies sit when they are arguing about who is to blame for the
missing victim. This sofa is modern looking, again showing that bullies live a nice house
where stereotypically bullies can live in more untidy homes. This is the door that
slams in the title sequence, even though the bullies are alone in the house. This adds
suspense as the audience will wonder if the victim is haunting them, and if she is dead or
alive.
The next shot shows the bullies picking on the victim who goes missing, although it is never revealed to the audience whether the victim is alive or not.
This shower curtain is the one the victim pulls back, when one of bullies is composing themselves. The advantage of using a shower curtain is that it can be pulled back slowly and add more suspense, because of dramatic irony, the audience will be able to see the victim but the bully won't until sees her in the mirror.
This shows the bathroom mirror in which one of the bullies composes themselves, and the
end shot where the bully sees the victim. Often in horrors if someone is haunting
someone they will appear in a mirror, which is why we choose to do it.
This shot is of the scene where one of the Bullies is panicking in their room. and when they hear a loud
crash outside and rush to the door.
This is a test shot of the two bullies watching the news about the missing victim, who left behind a
suicide note, although no body has been discovered.
This is a test shot of the news, of where the report of the missing victim will appear which leaves the bullies thinking whether or not they are to blame.
This is a test shot of the actors we planned to use as the bullies. They are dressed similarly to show they are part of the same cliché. However they're girly clothing subverts the stereotype of bullies,
which are stereotypically chavvy.
This is the make up we planned to use on the victim, e.g. the ghostly white face, making the
audience question whether she is dead or alive.
This is the door in which the first bully opens and sees something and looks horrified which leaves the
audience wondering if she has seen the victim, although this is also never revealed.
This is the door that slams when the bullies think they are alone in the house, however this leaves the audience thinking that perhaps the victim slammed
the door and is haunting the bullies or seeking revenge.
