    COMPANY PROFILE

    Central Bank of India, a leading Public Sector Bank, with Pan India Branch Network of more

    than 3617 branches, with total business of more than 262120 Crores and driven by talented work

    force of 34000 + employees, is looking for retired bank officers, having experience of working in

    any public sector bank with minimum Grade scale III / IV and with relevant expertise, forrecruitment on contract as Auditors for carrying out Risk Based Internal Audit and audit related

    work in its branches.

    2. CONTRACT PERIOD, AMOUNT AND OTHER TRAVELLING EXPENSES;

    The candidate shall be appointed on Contract basis for a period of one year. Renewal may be

    possible at Banks sole discretion in terms of extant policies and rules, the contract may be

    terminated by either side by giving one months notice.

    3.CONTRACT AMOUNT AND OTHER TRAVELLING EXPENSES;

    The contract amount shall be fixed as the last pay and allowances drawn by the officer less the

    amount of pension to be drawn/being drawn by him/her OR ` 30,000/- per month ,which ever

    is less.

    Reimbursement of lodging and food expenses shall be made for the period of travel as under:

    - Max. Room Tariff permissible (Exclusive of Taxes)

    No other allowances/reimbursement of expenses will be admissible.

    Travelling:

    Selected candidate shall be entitled to travel by A/C II Tier and reimbursement thereof or actual

    which ever is less shall be made.

    Expenses towards lodging and traveling shall be paid on production of bills subject to ceiling

    fixed as above or actual which ever is less.

    4. LEAVE:

    The candidates shall not be entitled for any leave except Sundays and public holidays.

    5.JOB PROFILE:

    These Officials shall have to undertake Risk Based Internal Audit of at least 25 Branches during

    contract period of one year. They will be subjected to accountability for not reporting High Risk

    areas/suspected frauds/persisting irregularities in their audit reports. They are required to submit

    audit report to concerned Zonal Audit Office.

    6. SELECTION PROCEDURE

    The eligible candidates will be called for personal interview and the decision of the Bank in this

    regard shall be final.

    7. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

    Eligible candidates have to submit their applications in the given format (Annexure A).

    Last date for receipt of application is 23.10.2010. No applications shall be entertained beyond

    the stipulated date. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

    8. APPLICATION FEE

    Application fee is Rs.1000/- payable by way of Draft drawn on any Nationalised/Scheduled

    Bank drawn in favour of Central Bank of India- Recruitment of Auditors and payable atMumbai

    9. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

    a) While applying for the posts, the applicant should ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility

    and other norms mentioned above and that the particulars furnished are correct in all

    respects. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the

    eligibility norms and / or that he / she has furnished any incorrect / false information or has

    suppressed any material fact(s), his / her candidature will automatically stand cancelled. If

    any of the above shortcoming(s) is / are detected even after appointment, his / her contractual

    appointment is liable to be terminated without any notice.

    b) In case of suitable and deserving cases, any of the requirements and conditions of eligibility

    mentioned above, may be relaxed at the discretion of the Management. The Management

    reserves the right to fill or not to fill the above advertised position without assigning any

    reason thereof.

    c) Mere submission of application against the advertisement and apparently fulfilling the criteria

    as prescribed in the advertisement would not bestow on him / her right to be called for

    interview.
