Mary was the woman who was afraid. She was afraid to tell John the truth. Yet beneath all the lies John knew that she was the one. It is because he chose her, for who she is deep down, despite the lies.

There are many controversies going on about Mary and John not divorcing her because she shot his best friend. Sherlock survived and faked his death. If he can lie to John and dying, while Mary shot him, he can survive. It was because she was scared. She was scared of losing John, and let alone her dying. She had no choice but to shoot Sherlock. Yet deep down I guarantee that Mary had faith in him, as Sherlock had faith in her. The two people who have a similar lifestyle as John.

They said this. Similar lifestyle. This can mean several things.The lifestyle that is unusual from a normal human, the thrill, and the chase.Mary was apart of this life style that Sherlock and John shared together.She isn’t going to be perfect, nor is Sherlock, and not even John. They all craveThe aspects of the crime industry. And that’s how they come together into a likelyBond. All three of them.

Ship what you want. Ship what you love. Ship johnlock. Johnlock is beautiful. But don’t hate on Mary mainly because she is married to John and shot Sherlock. Because those weren’t the only points. The whole show basically spoke out loud to prove how those points didn’t matter. Mary wasn’t all bad, and she was connected to Sherlock and John with a bond because they each have a similar lifestyle. Hate on Mary. Go ahead. Yet that wasn’t the only reasons why Mary had done what she did. There was more to it.

John chose Mary.

Like he chose Sherlock. Despite the lies and the differences, did he rejectSherlock after all of his differences? Did John reject Sherlock, never facingHim again, after reviving from his own death? No.

The same went for Mary. John chose Mary for this reason, she helped Him cope. It wasn’t just loyalty it was forgiveness, with a sense of being.

John wasn’t going to give all that up, including that Sherlock is smart enough to get out of the whole shooting mess.
