“Whenever you want to achieve something, keep your eyes open, concentrate and make sure you know exactly what it is you want. No one can hit their target with their eyes closed.” ― Paulo Coelho

FOCUS

The lion is known for its focus and its power of concentration. Even amidst the herd of its prey, the lion sets its target on just one member of the herd and it stays focused on it, till it brings it down. The lion is never wavering or distracted by any means to change focus when it made up its mind. Such is the power of steadfastness. If a mere beast could dispel distraction and display such single mindedness that is sharp enough to bring down its prey, you possess much more power to control unwarranted indecisions and distractions and achieve your desires without wavering. Only you can decide what is most important per time. Now, your desire is one more important thing in your life that will not be achieved unless you remain steadfast.

Get a Dream No man is worth living if he’s got nothing worth dying for. If before reading this material you've got nothing you’re willing to exchange a piece of your life with then you’re merely existing! No great man is made out of little thinking. Until you allow what you are willing to possess become a driving force you are not living well enough. Today let your passion become an action that stretches you towards what you desire. Do you know that our greatest inspiration comes from the want of what we lack? However, they are not always far from what we can have if we allow them start even as little as a dream- Remember, if you can dream it, you can reach it.

Keep On…

You never know how close you are when you permit the stinking thinking of giving up rip you of your prize. There can’t be a more memorable time in the world to cease than when the world attend your funeral and affirms this assertively of you, ‘Here rest a man who did all his best.’ All you need to beat the best records most times is a little than it takes to make. Every athlete on the track knows that they are a micro second away from breaking existing records. Most times, what stands between a man and a record breaking feat is just 1/60th of a second….life expect you to hold on. Whatever field you find yourself, keep on, keeping on; it’s just a little more that is required to beat the status quo and live above the usual routine.

Try Again

The cheetah is the fastest land animal. The swiftness of the cheetah cannot be undermined and even when it seems running, it aren’t, the cheetah is usually close to flying! When running the fore and hind limbs of the cheetah is moving at closely same time , often twice as the prey’s. Combined with a powerful vision, the cheetah is a near never miss hunter, yet it still misses. But each time it misses, the cheetah does not give up. It retreat to its ambush to re-launch. What a great lesson to learn from this terrific animal. Don’t allow what appears as a temporary set-back run you down and drown your willpower. Get fired up and try again. You never know how much you’ve learnt from a fall until you try again.

Rows

The only time in the world fitting enough to build sustaining character is when your expectations face difficulties that alters your suitable outcomes. What are you going through presently-adversity, bitterness, sickness, worry, pain….name it. You never know who you’re –strong or weak until such situations introduces you to your true self. Bill Vaughan observed, ‘In the game of life, its a good idea to have a few early losses which relieves you of the pressure of trying to maintain an undefeated season.’ Now, it is not such seasons that defeats you, in fact such painful experiences do not break you, such times groom you and give you sustaining strength to reach the hallmark of your designated purpose. In truth, the highest end of your life does not truly manifest until you have conquered some serious agonizing battles….that’s the way all champions are made.

Looking Back?

One of the great books I’ve read is the bible. In one of its records, it record the event of God parting the Red Sea before the Israelites. As amazing as the miracle, the Israelites also did their own part, they took a bold step by crossing over. Whatever lies ahead of you is already a parted sea,…hesitations and worries on past failures are uncalled for otherwise you may make the error of withdrawing from a readily accomplished task that requires your determination to superintend. There is no mistake as great as putting a question mark where God already puts a full stop. There is no standing still where God already marks a moving on. What is required of you is to identify the honour that you seek and put up a bold face to secure it regardless of the oddities.

This Defies it…

To a lame man the law of gravity simply put is anything that goes up must come down. Interestingly not your age! No one is growing younger regardless of the decorative walls of cosmetics. You waste consummate time if you fall in the category of those who still have not found the champion in themselves. Don’t end up being the man everyone around ask, ‘What purpose you sincerely live for?’ only to leave them wondering at your funeral, ‘What one decision you made that made some sort of unusual difference?’ Sternly, you may not live long as much as you may have anticipated; at least nobody live. Live so much, so long with as much courage to make your life worth the while. Make purposeful decisions now, take a bold step. For this reason Henri Frederic advised, ‘For purpose of action nothing is more useful than narrowness of thought combined with energy of will.’ Give your life a taste no one can resist.

Be Thirsty

Imagine you’ve just returned home from a scorching sun, opening the fridge, you found no water. Heavily dehydrated, you get to the closest shop hoping to get water and you were told the last one have just been sold and almost everywhere you get to, same scenario prevails….until one final move when you finally got one, even at an exorbitant price. Just like you don’t wait in your room for the water to come, just like you stooped at nothing to get it, just like you don’t even mind the choking price…just in same vein….don’t wait, stop at nothing and don’t mind the sacrifice to reach your desire. Your life is what you make it and you must never allow what you desire be at the mercy of your challenges. The water paradox is instructive, get thirsty.

Are you a FOOL?

I did not ever remember God creating a fool! Your success is not and will never be tied to the singular discretion of some people’s opinion of you. People who can hardly see through their stained glasses should not tell you how unclean your life looks-May be they should blame the medium through which they see you. Set timely, well laid goals. Be proactive and guide your outcomes with well thought out plans. Your success is reaching the maximum potential available to you at any given point. Success has got little or nothing to do with a dream that is achieved through impulse alone. Your ability to repeat a feat through well guided arrangements makes you a master of the act. The only fool I happen to remember; I attended his funeral last night and I’m sure you are not the one. The world awaits your reckoning- Don’t disappoint.

Mistakes or Failure

Failure: Quitting an inch to success. Mistakes: Putting a square peg in a round hole. Supposedly to me, a mistake is still a little progress than an outright surrender. At least a mistake is learning one more way it can’t work than stopping to learn outrightly. When you make a mistake, there are three things you should ever do about it- 1. Admit it 2. Learn from it. 3. Don’t repeat it. Failure is like suicide- a permanent solution to a temporary situation. With failure you now reach total stoppage, while mistake gives you a chance to pick up the pieces. You learn more from mistakes- You learn how many ways of how not to do what you seek to achieve and just one way to doing it. Make more mistakes- progress is assured with each one than outright resignation
