LICENSE

properly licensed both the Client and Server software that is being connected, not to clients or Server softwareowned/licensed by third parties. The preceding also applies to any other PG Music products (RealBand etc.) with asimilar type of connection between a Server program and a Client.

PG Music Inc.s entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be:A. The replacement of any media not meeting PG Music Inc.s Limited Warranty, which are returned to PG Music

Inc., or an authorized PG Music Inc. dealer, with a copy of your receipt.B. If PG Music Inc. or the authorized dealer is unable to deliver replacement media which is free of defects in

materials or workmanship, you may terminate this agreement, and your money will be refunded.

In no event will PG Music Inc. be liable to you for any damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost savings,or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or the inability to use such program, even if PG

New Features in RealBand 2013

Welcome to RealBand 2013

RealBand is a fully-featured and powerful music arranging, sequencing, and digital recording program that

is included free with Band-in-a-Box.

It can be used as a stand-alone music workstation, or together with Band-in-a-Box as an all-in-onesequencing program with automatic accompaniment.

RealBand 2013 for Windows is here with lots of cool new features!

Now you can control RealBand from your iPhone and save songs as Band-in-a-Box files with the RBRemote app. The new Print-to-PDF button prints your notation in the popular PDF format, ready to upload

or email. Theres added support for audio formats like .MP3, .MP4, M4A, and .WMA files, including

Jukebox play. Recording is made easier with an Input VU meter on the main toolbar and pre-roll for

punch-ins. You can generate multiple RealCharts for multiple MultiRiffs, even if they use the same

instrument, add multiple songs at a time to the Jukebox play list, batch convert groups of files in a folder

with enhanced batch rendering, and much more. Plus, RealBand fully supports the 101 new RealTracks,and 50 new MIDI SuperTracks released with Band-in-a-Box 2013!

New Features in RealBand 2013

Here are the new features added in RealBand 2013.

RB Remote Support - The RealBand remote for iphone, ipad, and ipod touch, can be purchased for 99cents from the app store, and allows you to control many aspects of RealBand remotely. There are

transport features, which include play, stop, rewind, forward. There is a mixer that displays volume, pan

and VU information for every track. Conductor features allow you to jump through your RealBand song

seamlessly. And, there is a chord window that also allows you to jump to different points in the song, and

view the chord progression as the song plays back. You can save songs to Band-in-a-Box MGU/SGU files.

There is now an Input VU meteralways open on the main toolbar, great

for keeping an eye on input levels without the need to open a separate VU

Meter window.

The Punch Indialog now has a pre-roll feature that automatically starts playback by aspecified number of bars and beats before the start of the punch-in point.

In the Notation, the Print Optionsdialog now has a [Print-to-PDF]button

that lets you print the notation directly to a .PDF file.

In the Jukeboxyou can add multiple songsat a time to the play list when you click onthe [Add to Play List]button. This is especially useful for loading a set of songs all at

once, or loading all of the songs in a folder into the Jukebox.

In the Filemenu, the Save Ascommand now supports

saving to MP3, .MP4, .M4A, and .WMA files.

MIDI tracks are automatically rendered to audio andsaved in the file. Note that your system must have the

codec installed for the type of file you want to save

(e.g. MP3).

File | Opennow allows opening of .MP4 and .M4Afiles. This means that RealBand supports virtually all

common MIDI and audio formats in addition to its

own .SEQ files and Band-in-a-Box ?G? files.

Batch File Conversion

The Filemenu commandBatch Convertwill convert a group of files in a folder over to another file

type (.SEQ, .MID, .MP3, .MP4, .M4A, .WAV, .MGU, .SGU). So lets say you want to convert yourRealBand songs to MP4 files.

Its as easy as entering the location and file type (or all files) for the files that you want to convert and then

choosing the output file type and location. There is also the option to add a suffix to the file names to

identify the rendered files.

Left and rightcursor arrow keys will move the current time forward or backward by 1 beat in the

Tracks window and Audio Edit window

You now have the added ability to select a region of the song during playbackin the Tracks window and

some other windows like the Audio Edit window and Chords window.

RealBand can automatically generate RealChartsafter you have

chosen multiple riffs, if the "Also Generate RealCharts" checkbox was

enabled in the tracks right-click menu.

RealBand also supports Multiple RealCharts for the same RealTrack soloist number. If you happen tohave multiple tracks with the same RealTrack soloist number, you will see separate tracks for each

RealChart.PLUS

- Resizable Lead Sheet- the Lead Sheet window will now adjust the height and width of stavesautomatically when resized.

- Improved section letterand section textentry.

- Solo/mute duplicated on the Audio Edit windowtoolbar.

- ESC key cancels RealTracks and RealDrums- pressing ESCto quit RealTrack generation will nowprevent RealDrum generation from happening afterward as well.

- Mouse wheel support for horizontal scrollingthe row of masters or auxes in the Mixer Window inaddition to the row of tracks.

NOTE:This will occur if the scroll wheel is moved and there are less than the full amount of tracks, masters, or

auxes visible, and if the mouse cursor is over a particular section, and if the Mixer is the currently active window.

- Jukebox plays most popular audio files. As well as RealBand and Band-in-a-Box files, the Jukeboxcan now play your audio files in the most popular formats like WAV, WMA, MP3, MP4, M4A, etc.

- and much more!

101 New RealTracks!

With Band-in-a-Box 2013, weve added a huge number of new RealTracks (101), with great new Jazz,

Pop, and Country Styles. And of course you can use all of your Band-in-a-Box RealTracks to create partsor whole tracks in RealBand!
