On the other hand, a Post Office box is an address located within the premises of a Post office and serves the function of allowing individuals to receive mails and packages without revealing their physical address or even having a fixed physical address.

One question that is easy to come to a readers mind is that why in God’s Name would any individual not want to reveal their physical address because except you are a criminal or fugitive there is no need for a P.O.Box.

Well, this is no longer the case because since the beginning and advancement of Work from Home or Home Based Business that enabled people to work and earn from the comfort of their homes many amongst the Home Based business owners now uses P.O.Box as their business address.

Because unless Home Based Business owners use P.O.Box, they will have to expose their home address on the web, on business stationeries like envelopes, letterhead paper and receipt and on Government Document such as tax letters and Business registration.

There is no doubt that P.O.Box acts as a very good solution to the problems of exposing Home address on the web and to the public but existing and prospective clients are not comfortable dealing with home based business that uses P.O.Box because they feel that should anything go wrong during business transaction it would be difficult to get the business owner and post office cannot be held responsible because they are Government entity.
