Lieutenant General Guy C. Swan III currently serves as an AUSA Vice President. During more than 35 years of active service he commanded at every level through Army Service Component Command. A career armor/cavalry officer, his general officer assignments included Commanding General, United States Army North/Fifth Army; Commanding General, United States Army Military District of Washington and Commander, Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region; Commanding General, 7th Army Training Command, United States Army Europe/Seventh Army; Chief of Staff and Director of Operations, Multi-National Force-Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom; Director of Operations, United States Northern Command; and Chief of Army Legislative Liaison.

General Swan's other key assignments included Commander, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment; Assistant Deputy Director for Strategy and Policy for the Joint Staff; and Deputy Operations Officer for the 1st Armored Division during Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

A 1976 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, General Swan holds a Master of Military Art and Science degree from the United States Army's School of Advanced Military Studies. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in National Security Studies from Georgetown University and was a National Security Fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

General Swan is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Aspen Institute Homeland Security Group, and the FEMA National Advisory Council. He is also a Certified Emergency Manager(CEM) and a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), board certified in security management.

General Swan is married to the former Melanie Taylor Curry of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They have two children: Ryan, a US Army lieutenant, and Melissa, a college junior.

Lieutenant General Aundre F. Piggee assumed duties as the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4 on 23 September 2016. He oversees policies and procedures used by all Army Logisticians throughout the world. Prior to joining the Army staff he served as the Director of Logistics and Engineering, United States Central Command, MacDill AFB, FL. Lieutenant General Piggee is a Native of Stamps, Arkansas. He commissioned into the United States Army in 1981 from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where he graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He has a Master of Science Degree in Material Acquisition Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Master’s Degree in Military Strategy from the Army War College. Lieutenant General Piggee also received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Doctor of Laws from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. His military education includes the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, the Ordnance Officer Advance Course, Combined Arms Staff Services School, the Logistics Executive Development Course, the Command and General Staff College and the Army War College. His most significant assignments include: Director of Logistics and Engineering, United States Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida; Commanding General, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Kaiserslautern, Germany; Assistant Chief of Staff, J4 and Combined Forces Command, C4, United States Forces Korea, Seoul, South Korea; and Executive Officer to the Vice Chief of Staff, Army, the Pentagon. Todd Richmond

Director of Advanced Prototype Development Institute for Creative Technologies

By day, Todd Richmond is the director of advanced prototypes at the University of Southern California Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT). By night he is a musician, visual artist, and conceptual troublemaker. In a previous life Richmond was a chemistry professor at The Claremont Colleges where early in his faculty career he incorporated multimedia and web technologies into his teaching and research. That work led him to evolve from his specific focus on chemistry to instead pursue a broader understanding of technology and content as managing director of the USC Annenberg Center for Communication (a new media research center). In 2006 Richmond moved to ICT and currently leads the advanced prototype group. He works in a variety of areas: emerging disruptive technologies and their implications/applications for training, learning, and operations; future environments for communication and collaboration; immersive technologies; interactive education; visualization and analytics. He works closely with the USC School of Cinematic Arts, has studied with Grammy- winning bassist Victor Wooten, and performs regularly with a number of different ensembles. Richmond earned a B.A. in chemistry from the University of San Diego and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Caltech, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in protein engineering at U.C. San Francisco.

Biography: Maj. Gen. Cedric T. Wins

Maj. Gen. Cedric T. Wins serves as commanding general of the U.S. Army Research,

Development and Engineering Command. RDECOM has the mission to provide innovative

research, development and engineering to produce capabilities that provide decisive overmatch

to the Army against the complexities of the current and future operating environments in

support of the Joint Warfighter and the Nation.

Wins graduated from the Virginia Military Institute and was commissioned in the Field Artillery

in July 1985. He is a graduate of the Field Artillery Officer Basic and Advanced Courses,

Command and General Staff College, and the National War College. He holds a master's degree

in management from the Florida Institute of Technology and master's degree in national

security and strategic studies from the National War College.

Before his assignment as RDECOM commander, Wins served as Director, Force Development in

the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-8. During his 30 years of service, Wins has held

leadership and staff assignments in the 7th Infantry Division (Light), Fort Ord, California; the

2nd Infantry Division, Eighth United States Army, Korea; Headquarters Department of the Army

and the Joint Staff, The Pentagon; the 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; Strategic

Planning, J-8, U.S. Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida; and the

Requirement Integration Directorate, Army Capabilities Integration Center, Joint Base Langley-

Eustis, Virginia.

His deployments include Task Force Sinai, Multinational Force and Observers, Egypt, Operations

Officers, Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 5th Battalion, 21st Infantry (Light); Program

Executive Officer, Joint Program Executive Office -- Afghanistan Public Protection Force,

Brigadier General (Promotable) Rodney D. Fogg 54th Quartermaster General and Commandant

US Army Quartermaster School Fort Lee, Virginia

Brigadier General Rodney Fogg assumed responsibility as the 54th Quartermaster General on June 10, 2016.

Brigadier General Fogg’s key assignments include: Platoon Leader and Battalion S-1 of the 19th Maintenance Battalion,

Giessen, West Germany; Battalion S-4 and Company Commander of the 102nd Quartermaster Company (POL), 561st Corps Support Battalion, Fort Campbell, KY, deploying to Operation Provide Hope in Somalia and Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti; Logistics Officer for the 3rd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia. Jennifer Chronis

General Manager, Department of Defense Amazon Web Services

Jennifer Chronis is the General Manager for DoD at Amazon Web Services (AWS). She joined AWS in April 2016 after spending 15 years at IBM and a total of 21 years in the US Army. Jennifer is responsible for all facets of the AWS business for the Department of Defense, to include strategy, sales, business development, marketing, technical support, and business partner relationships. Her account responsibilities include the Army, Navy, Air Force, US Marine Corps and the DoD Fourth Estate. Prior to joining AWS, Jennifer served in various roles at the IBM Corporation. Her last responsibility was as Vice President for DoD from February 2013 – March 2015. She previously served as Vice President, Federal Growth Initiatives, Director for Smarter Analytics in the US East and Executive Assistant to the General Manager for IBM North America, a $40 billion business unit. Jennifer also led the Army account, the IBM Power Systems brand for the Federal Government, and the Systems & Technology sales organization for Federal Civilian Agencies. In February 2015, Jennifer announced her candidacy for the Dranesville (Great Falls, McLean, and Herndon Virginia) seat on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. From April through November 2015, she ran a full-time campaign where she raised nearly $300,000 and garnered 46% of the vote as a first-time candidate. Jennifer also served her country for 21 years as a US Army officer. She was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1989 and spent 11 years on active duty performing in combat in Operations Desert Shield/Storm in Saudi Arabia and Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom in Bosnia. In 2001, Jennifer joined the US Army Reserve and was mobilized from 2004 through 2006 to serve as the Director of Resources for the Joint IED Defeat Organization. She retired from the US Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2010. Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. She is an American Council for Technology – Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) IT Fellow and currently serves on the University of Virginia Center for Business Analytics Advisory Board and the Fairfax County Criminal Justice Advisory Board. She previously served on the Board of Directors for the DC Chapter of AFCEA and the Executive Board of the Great Falls Citizens Association.

Mr. William F. Moore | Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4

Son of an Army Combat Veteran, Non-Commissioned Officer, Mr. Bill Moore was appointed to

the Senior Executive Service (SES) in October 2006 and is currently the HQDA Assistant Deputy

Chief of Staff, G4 (Tier 3), responsible for Army logistics plans, policy and programs. In this role,

he serves as the Army's leading expert and foremost authority in logistics.

Previously, he served as the Deputy Chief of staff G-1/4 (Personnel, Logistics and Engineering),

U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (SES Tier 2). In this capacity, he is responsible for

human resources, logistics, engineering, and integration of base support programs while

administering diversity, medical, safety, and history functions in support of the Army Training &

Doctrine Command.

Prior to that role, he served as the Deputy to the Commanding General of the Army's Combined

Arms Support Command and Ft Lee (SES Tier 2), where he oversaw a 5000 person work force

across ten states with a combined budget of more than $350 million, leading Army sustainment

combat/training developments and annual training of more than 180,000 Soldiers, other

Service Members and Civilians.

In all, his experience spans more than 30 years in the Army and includes personnel,

engineering, logistics, force modernization, training, and leader development to include the

LIEUTENANT GENERAL PAUL A. OSTROWSKI

Principal Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army

(Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) and Director of the Army Acquisition Corps

Lieutenant General Paul A. Ostrowski graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1985. He earned a Master of Science degree in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University’s Industrial College of the Armed Forces in 2006. He graduated from Joint and Combined Warfighting School at the Joint Forces Staff College in 2000. Additionally, he earned a Master of Science degree in Systems Acquisition Management at the Naval Postgraduate School in 1996. Lieutenant General Ostrowski has more than twenty-five years of experience in acquisition, operational, and Joint assignments. He currently serves as the Principal Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA (ALT)) and Director of the Army Acquisition Corps. Prior to this assignment, Lieutenant General Ostrowski served as the Deputy Commanding General for Support, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan. He also served as the Deputy for Acquisition and Systems Management, Office of the ASA (ALT) in Washington, D.C., from September 2014 to March 2016. Lieutenant General Ostrowski was assigned as the Program Executive Officer, Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, from April 2012 to September 2014. Previous assignments include the Assistant Deputy for Acquisition and Systems Management, Office of the ASA (ALT); Executive Officer to the Commander, United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), MacDill Air Force Base, Florida; Director, Operational Test and Evaluation, as well as PEO for Special Programs, USSOCOM; and Program Manager for Counterproliferation, USSOCOM. He served as a Legislative Fellow, as well as Project Leader for the Rapid Equipping Force in both Washington, D.C., and in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom from June 2001 to July 2003. Major General Jim Richardson, Commanding General, AMCOM

Major General Jim Richardson is a native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and a 1982 graduate

of the University of South Carolina. His education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree, a

Masters Degress in Advanced Military Studies from the Command and General Staff College,

and a Masters Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the National Defense

University. He is a graduate of the Armor Officer Basic and Aviation Officer Advanced Courses,

the Army's Command and General Staff College, School of Advanced Military Studies, and the

National War College.

Major General Jim Richardson's most recent assignments include Deputy Commanding

General III Corps and Fort Hood and while deployed he was assigned as the Deputy

Commanding General, United States Forces Afghanistan and Commander of the U.S. National

Support Element. Throughout his career he has served in Army units in the United States,

Republic of South Korea, Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. Major General Richardson is a Master

Army Aviator who has commanded Soldiers in combat on six different occasions both in

Afghanistan and Iraq, and has commanded at every level.

MG Richardson commanded an Attack Helicopter Battalion in the 101st Airborne Division (Air

Assault) at Fort Campbell Kentucky where he deployed his battalion to both invasions of

Afghanistan and Iraq; he commanded the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade in the 101st Airborne

Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell Kentucky and deployed his Brigade to Afghanistan in

2009; Deputy Commanding General, 1st Cavalry Division from 2010 to 2011at Fort Hood Texas;

and Deputy Commanding General, Combined Joint Task Force 1 in Regional Command East,

Afghanistan from 2011 to 2012.

His principal staff assignments include Executive Assistant to the Commander, International

Security Force Afghanistan; Executive Officer to the Vice Chief of Staff of the United States

Army; Executive Officer, Army G3/5/7; Chief of the Army Initiatives Group; 101st Airborne (Air

Assault) Division Plans Officer, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Brigade Operations Officer, 159th

COL David Robinson, DIUx Military Deputy(Acting)

Colonel David Robinson is the Military Director(Acting) of the

Defense Innovation Unit Experimental (DIUx). In that capacity he

brings innovative solutions from commercial industry to Army and

DoD problems. In addition to being the Army service lead for DIUx,

COL Robinson helps ensure the care, welfare and mission readiness

of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines assigned to DIUx.

DIUx is an entity within the DoD’s Research & Engineering

organization. With locations in Silicon Valley, Boston, Austin and in

the Pentagon, DIUx works across the Department and with Other

Transactional Authorities to bring commercial innovation to warfighter

problems now. Colonel Robinson was commissioned an Army Signal

Corps officer in 1992 and has served in staff and command positions

in Active, Guard and Reserve components. His service includes

operational assignments in Europe, the Continental United States,

the Americas, Asia and in U.S. Central Command as the Afghanistan

Country Officer in Charge of the Army Engineering Research and

Development Center (ERDC). Colonel Robinson is a Master Space Operations Officer (Functional Area 40) and has

served as a Space officer in the U.S. Intelligence Community and operational theaters alike. As a civilian, Colonel

Robinson has worked as a sales and business executive in the telecommunications and satellite industry for over

twenty years. Colonel Robinson is the owner of three businesses in Colorado in the drug, alcohol and medical

diagnostic testing industries. Colonel Robinson has served as a police officer in Colorado and he holds a Master of

Science in Space Systems Operations Management and an MBA. Having served in a variety of theaters with

multiple combat tours, his awards, badges and decorations are consistent with those of Soldiers who have had the

honor to serve the United States over a period of decades and the good fortune to return safely home.

Mark “Jake” Jacobsohn Senior Vice President Booz Allen Hamilton Mark "Jake" Jacobsohn is a leader in Booz Allen’s cyber business. Most recently, he led our analytics initiative, focused on developing and scaling state-of-the-art data science solutions and tradecraft, with clients spanning commercial, civil, defense, and intelligence markets. He is also the functional service officer for analytics across the firm. Previously, Mark led Booz Allen's alternate revenue streams effort, which sought to leverage the firm’s intellectual capital to bundle services with new products and differentiate Booz Allen in the marketplace. Mark also oversaw Booz Allen’s investment in the Internet of Things (IoT). For IoT, Booz Allen co-developed many capabilities with partners including Microsoft and Intel Corp. He also led the design and building of our DC Innovation Center. In his 20 years with Booz Allen, he supported all the firm’s major markets and clients, including our Intelligence business focused on national security. He also supported the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense. Mark is a well-known wargamer, with experience designing and executing several hundred events throughout his career, ranging from small tabletop exercises to national cyber exercises. He also helped develop and employ a broad set of modeling and simulation tools, from course-of-action analysis for national war plans, to detailed tactical modeling and visualization tools in support of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as network and system performance modeling for classified programs. Before joining Booz Allen, Mark worked for Science Applications International Corp., focusing on nuclear arms control and the revolution in military affairs. Mark is a member of the Military Operations Research Society. He holds an M.A. in security policy studies from The George Washington University and a B.A. in government from Hamilton College. He also holds a certificate from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government for completing the Senior Executives in National and International Security program.
