After traveling to the Himalayas, we thought it was time to visit one of the other great mountain ranges in the world: the Andes!We decided not to do it for less!
The trip starts and ends in Brazil, passing through no less than 6 countries: Brasil, Paraguai, Argentina, Chile, Bolívia e Peru!

During 19 days we will travel through some of the most mythical places in South America, such as the Iguaçu Water Falls, the Uyuni Salar, the Bolivian Altiplano, Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the Amazon Jungle.

The border entry will be made through one of the busiest borders in South America, Puente de la Amistad, a place famous for its intense trade.
Then it’s time to ride to the capital, Assuncion!

de Atacama will be made through the Los Flamencos National Park, crossing the famous Passo de Jama, situated at 4,200m high!
The day ends surrounded by the stunning landscape around the city that includes the desert, salt flats, volcanoes, geysers and hot springs..

On this 1st rest day of the trip, we regain energy for what´s coming. But the rest can be active!

Open your eyes, sharpen your senses and get ready!
We will cross the Eduardo Avaroa Andean National Wildlife Reserve (located between 4,200m and 5,400m high), through an off-road route!
During the day we will see volcanoes, hot springs, geysers, colorful lakes,

fumaroles and flamingos!
The day ends in front of Laguna Colorada, in a mountain shelter, enjoying the stars!

Stage 7 12th of July
Laguna Colorada Chuvica 343 Km(7h)
We continue to head North, taking an off-road route that will take us to the entrance of the Uyuni Salar, staying overnight in a mountain shelter in Chuvica.
The day will be filled with stunning landscapes, such as Laguna Capina, Laguna Pastos Grandes and Cerro Tomasamil, with its 5,890m of altitude!

This will be another unforgettable day! After sleeping at the entrance of the Uyuni Salar (the largest salt desert in the world at an altitude of 3,600m), it´s time to cross it and enjoy all its unique beauty!

This is the highest capital in the world, located at an altitude of 3,600m, and was founded in 1548.

After visiting the Bolivian capital, it´s time to change countries, again!
Stage 11 16th of July
“Bienvenidos” to Peru!
The entry into the 6th country of this trip will be made through the border located next to the Titicaca Lake.
We will travel along its banks to Puno, where a boat will take us to the floating island of Uros (artificial platforms built by the indigenous Uros people in the colonial period), where we will spend the night.

Stage 12 17th of July
Puno -TaquileRest Day
The day will be entirely dedicated to the fantastic Titicaca Lake!
The lake is located at an altitude of 3,800m, and is the largest lake in South America.
In it we can find 9 artificial islands built by a local aquatic plant, and where an ancient indigenous people live: the Uros!
The day ends on the island of Taquile, where we will sleep.

It’s time to get back on the road!
The day starts early with a boat trip back to Puno, where we will recover our mounts.
This day’s route takes us to Cusco (in the local language: “the Navel of the World”), the ancient capital of the Inca empire, located in the Sacred Valley.

Today we will get to know the fabulous Inca culture in a deeper way, riding through the Sacred Valley.
This valley was very much appreciated by the Incas due to its special geographical and climatic qualities and was one of the main points of production for the richness of their lands.
In it we can find countless archaeological remains and monuments of this ancient civilization!

Another highlight of the trip!
We will wake up very early, to take a train that will lead us to the lost city of the Incas: Machu Picchu!
This city was built in the 15th century and was only discovered in 1911!
The day ends in Cusco, where we can relax in its beautiful Plaza de Armas!

Stage 16 21st of July
CuscoPuerto Maldonado 490 Km (9h)
After several days in altitude, we will descend almost to sea level, riding through the Peruvian Amazon jungle.
The temperature rises and the landscape changes dramatically!
The day ends in Puerto Maldonado, at the gates of the Brazilian border!

The trip is almost coming to and end, but before, we will cross the last border into Brazil, riding through the Amazon jungle.

We will say goodbye to our mounts, delivering the bikes in the city of Rio Branco, in the state of Acre.
It’s time to celebrate!

This trip is intended for motorcyclists with medium / high level of experience.
A large part of the trip will be done at altitude. During the trip, strategic stops to adapt to altitude will be made to provide maximum comfort to the participants.
