What’s in it for YOU?
Are you 18-25?
Have an intellectual disability?
Finished high school?
Earn a University of Kansas
undergrad certificate in 2 years!
You will be enrolled in at least six credit hours
of regular on-campus KU academic courses each
semester for two years. KU-TPE staff work with
KU faculty to make individual accommodations
and adaptations for you as needed. You will choose
courses that will lead you down your career pathway.
KU-TPE will develop your academic, career and
life skills to increase your independence and self-
determination. When you graduate, you will leave
KU with a certificate, a career plan and clear job
choices. You will be prepared for adult life!

Estimated CostsStudents in the KU-TPE program pay the tuition and housing costs established each year by the University of Kansas.
