If you have Autoplayenabled, the setup program should automatically launch. If you do not have Autoplayenabled or the launcher does not appear, then use Explorer to navigate to the Pillarsof Eternity disc, and manually launch setup.exe.Macintosh OS X:Insert Mac OS X Pillars of Eternity disc into the DVD drive. Open the resulting mounteddisc image, then open the Pillars of Eternity.dmg file by double-clicking on it. Followthe on-screen prompts to drag the game to your Applications folder.Linux:Insert the Linux Pillars of Eternity disc into your DVD drive. Pillars of Eternity iscompressed as a .tar.gz file that was split into several smaller chunks in order to be compatible with the file system on the DVD. You must first reassemble those chunks toa temporary location, and then decompress the archive into the final desired location.To begin, enter the following at the terminal:cat /PillarsOfEternity.tar.gz.* > /PillarsOfEternity.tar.gzsubstituting for the location of the files on the DVD and for a local temporarylocation to use.Open the resulting /PillarsOfEternity.tar.gz file with Archive Manager, and drag the 'Pillars of Eternity' folder to your desired install location. Once it has finisheddecompressing, you can delete /PillarsOfEternity.tar.gz file.Footprint:Pillars of Eternity requires approximately 14 GB of hard disk space.Save Games==========Windows:Pillars of Eternity uses the Saved Games directory in the Users folder to storesaved game data. This can be found at: %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Pillars of EternityMacintosh OS X:The Pillars of Eternity saved game folder is located on OS X at:~/Library/Application Support/Pillars of Eternity/Saved GamesUbuntu / Linux:The Pillars of Eternity saved game folder is located at:~/PillarsOfEternity/Saved Games_____________________________________________________________________________________ 3) GENERAL INFORMATION________________________Memory:Pillars of Eternity requires at least 4 GB of memory to run. For optimal performance,at least 8 GB is recommended, running on a 64-bit operating system.Running Applications:Pillars of Eternity has been designed to take best advantage of the availablemachine it is running upon, therefore we recommend that you close down allapplications before running Pillars of Eternity.Video Memory:Pillars of Eternity requires a video card with at least 1 GB of video memoryto run. Pillars of Eternity may run if launched on a machine withless than 1 GB of video memory, but there may be texture corruption issues.Languages:To switch languages in Pillars of Eternity, change the Language option in the Gametab of the Options menu.
